7th meeting in Syros, Greece, June 2011
Project members took part in 7th - Final Meeting - Syros, Greece. During the meeting presentation of common project's results and outputs was done. Partners presented results of meetings, workshops and surveys with pilot groups, as well as summed up the whole project. Additionally experiences and ideas were shared. Aims & Objectives
The main objective of Grundtvig Partnership Project "Together towards Integration - Key Competences
for Adults" is developing chosen, essential Key Competences among low-skilled adults threatened
by social exclusion by direct work with them, as well with piloting group of adults' trainers. The goal
is to enhance adults to integration and being active members of EU community, as well as to create
common educational program (to be used by trainers) including methods and tools useful in order
to learn low- skilled adults selected Key Competences-Recommendation of the European Parliament
and of the Council, of 18 December 2006, on key competences for lifelong learning [Official Journal
L 394 of 30.12.2006], namely:
Our aim of the project is to organize cycle of workshops and seminars for adults, that are low skilled and at the same time threatened by social exclusion in each partner's country, as well as to exchange experiences and good practices between Partners, trainers and learners. At the same time it is planned to include piloting group of adults' trainers in all project activities.
Main activities of the Project are:
The Project is expected to contribute to a general model of teaching and learning in adult education. The educational programme could be modified to accommodate different educational systems in accordance to each EU country. The assessment of the Project's impact is to be initially assessed on each national level in relation to each respective community or region where each organization is located. Results achieved are expected to be easily understood and transferred to other regions and modified according to each local need. |
